Asanas
Watch it live
Cobra - (Bhujangasana)
A heart-opening backbend - isometrically pulling your hands behind you as you try to lengthen your spine forward.
You can adjust the intensity of the backbend by straightening or bending your elbows to suit your needs.
UpDog - (Urdhva Mukha Svanasana)
One of the most common poses in Vinyasa Flow sequencing, which means it’s more important to get it right to prevent injury. People often go to updog before they are ready and can't straighten their arms whilst keeping their shoulder behind their heart. As well as not getting the chest opening this incorrect placement can compact the lower spine leading to a sore lower back.
